Hi, I’m Hanna Wilson, and I’m the Chief Editor here at To Our Table.

I’ve been passionate about cooking ever since my mom showed me how to make pancakes when I was a child. As a student at culinary school, I pursued my passion and honed my skills in a variety of cuisines. But it wasn’t until I quit my job as a chef to raise my own family that I truly realized the importance of food in our lives.

Many people are passionate about the quality of the food they get in a restaurant. But it’s even more important that we carry that passion over into our homes. The way we cook, the foods we eat, and the decision to sit down at the table together as a family all have an impact on our quality of life.

In our fast-paced, media-driven modern world, it’s too easy to forget about the value of organic, hands-on cooking. If we can bring people back to the dining room table, sit down together, and truly enjoy a meal, we can tap into a lot of the things modern life seems to be lacking.

That’s why I started To Our Table: to share my personal and professional passion and bring the conversation about food back to the home and hearth. My goal is to help you become healthier, happier, and more connected. To Our Table is run by a team of culinary enthusiasts and our mission is to help families — and anyone who eats — learn how to change their lives with food.

If you’re interested in better cooking for better living, we welcome you to our site and our community and we hope you find our resources helpful! We’d love to hear from you, whether that’s in a comment on one of our posts or a message to our team.
